Re: PBF #163 - Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen
Game Rules:
Rebel Team - The rebel team is comprised of six main players:
Merlin - If he is assassinated at the end of the game, rebels lose. Knows Morgana, Oberon, and Evil Lance, but not who is who.
Percy- Knows one of two players is Merlin and Morgana
PoR-Plain old Rebels- Starts off with no information
PoR-Plain old Rebels- Starts off with no information
PoR-Plain old Rebels- Starts off with no information
Good Lance- A Rebel. Starts off with no information

Spy Team - The spy team is comprised of four players:
Assassin/Mordred- In charge of the assassination at the end of the game and unknown to Merlin. Knows witch is Morgana and which is Evil Lance.
Morgana - A Spy. Percy sees one of Merlin and Morgana is Merlin. Knows witch is Mordred and which is Evil Lance.
Evil Lance - A Spy. Starts off with no information
Oberon - A Spy. Starts off with no information

Role GMs:

Merlin- The Spies are Natalie, Natalie, Natalie (Morgana, Oberon, Evil Lance - you do not know who is who).

Percy- One of Natalie and Natalie is Merlin the other is Morgana

Good Lance- You know nothing

Rebel/PoR- You know nothing

Assassin/Mordred- Spies are Natalie and Natalie(Knows witch is Morgana and which is Evil Lance)

Morgana- Spies are Natalie and Natalie (Knows witch is Mordred and which is Evil Lance)

Evil Lance- You know nothing

Oberon - You know nothing

Missions are 3/4/4/5*/5
*The fourth mission requires two fails.

Lance Switches
The switches are pre-determined randomly before the start of the game. Before M3, M4, and M5, the Mod will notify the players if there is a switch. The Lancelot Deck consists of 2 SWITCH cards and 3 NO SWITCH cards. Before mission 3, 4 and 5 the leftmost revealed card comes into effect and is then removed. The Lancelots will therefore switch teams either 0, 1 or 2 times in this game, and everyone will know if a switch occurs, and when it would happen.

If Good Lancelot is currently on the Rebel team and is sent on a mission, he/she must play SUCCESS. If Evil Lancelot is currently on the Spy team and is sent on a mission, he/she can either play either a PASS or a FAIL.

At the end of M2.X but BEFORE M3.1, the mod will announce "Lancelot Time", giving the Lancelot's a chance to 'talk'.

Excalibur
Excalibur is given by the leader to someone on the proposal. The leader cannot give Excalibur to himself. Excalibur is noted by a *. In the below example, Natalie proposes the mission and gives Excalibur to Person C (notified by the * next to his name).

Example:
Natsume wrote:
Natalie proposes: PBF 100: M1.1: Person A, Person B, Person C*

If the mission is sent and once the mission cards have been received, the wielder of Excalibur can choose to use it or not. If Excalibur is not used, nothing happens and the game go on as usual. If Excalibur is used on someone, the wielder privately sees what mission card (SUCCESS/FAIL) was played by that player, and then the mission card must be swapped to the other. A SUCCESS becomes a FAIL, and a FAIL becomes a SUCCESS.

If using, please post in BOLD "I Will/Will Not be using Excalibur (on NAME-OF-PERSON if using).

Lady of the Lake
Starts to the right of the person who is the first leader. At the end of M2, the person with the lady in the lake may determine which side the person chosen is. (You will not learn their role, only rebel or spy.) The chosen person then controls Lady in the Lake. At the end of rounds 3 and 4 this will again happen, but anyone who previously held the Lady in the Lake cannot be chosen as a target.
To do this, one writes in the thread in bold "I am using the Lady of the Lake on Natalie". The mod will then GM if they are a rebel or a spy to the person who has used the 'Lady of the Lake'.

Re: PBF #163 - Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen
PBF Rules:

1) Official mission proposals should be in bold contain the mission number and proposal number. For example PBF 100: M1.1 Natalie/Natalie. Per standard PBF etiquette, the fifth proposal/hammer will automatically be sent.

2) All votes should be GM to me. Send your vote in the subject line. For example "PBF 105 m1.1 YES".

3) There is a non-strict time limit of 24 hrs on every official game action. If you are going to take much longer than that, please post in the thread in advance. Weekends are usually not included.

4) No game-related discussion is allowed outside the thread until the game is completed. This includes GMs between players and posts in other threads. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask! No question is to n00bish!

5) Do not edit posts, except in the first minute or so to fix typos. Deleting is an extreme form of editing which is also forbidden. If you do edit, please type why you are editing. Example: Edit - For spelling mistakes.

6) No dice have been provided to you. You may not use the Geekroller in this thread.

7) Please subscribe to the thread and check in at least daily (exceptions for weekends).

8) Submission changes rule: You can change a submitted card any number of times (eg PASS/FAIL, ACCEPT/REJECT) but as soon as I receive the card from the last player, no more changes are allowed, even if I'm not there to post the results yet.
If you made changes after all the cards were in, I'll tell you which submitted card was the final one.

9) Feel free to message me anytime. It makes the game fun for me seeing what your thoughts are as you figure things out.

10) Remember everyone is here to have fun! Bullying, cursing, and other unsportsmanship like conduct is frowned upon.

Re: PBF #163 - Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen
What is this I don't even.

I've played with Percy and Morgana exactly once, in about the shortest PBF in the history of the resistance by page count. LOL once in a game that I just...lost hilariously too. Lancelot and Excalibur never. I sort of think Natalie is well too aware of my nerve-wracked paranoia in simple seven-player games to think it would be at all good for my emotional state to invite me here.

But, you know, she can be a manipulative spy sometimes too.

I guess I'm in, although that's kind of tentative.

A life, some would argue, is a series of problems. There’s no denying the truth in that – but why get lost in it? Why not rise above the truth… and lead a good life? Shouldn’t we all look at problems as a chance for us to find… solutions?

Its going to be lightly themed - with "Good Cooks" and "Bad Cooks" trying to sabotage the opening night of a restaurant.
