Let's face it. Vegemite just tastes better than Marmite. So naturally I've always preferred Vegemite. My doctor however pointed out that I was drastically low on vitamin B12-- which Marmite is a good vegetarian source of and Vegemite entirely lacks.

Uh-oh.

You actually like XXXXmite ... I'm so sorry for you.

I tasted Marmite in '92 and Vegemite in '01, I still have nightmare about this.

Saying on is better than the other is like saying dog poop is better of cat poop ...

Seriously how can someone willingly buy that and eat it ?????

On a side note, a vid about Vegemite I saw a few days ago: gulp

Only to your own personal taste buds, of course.

I say with as much seriousness as that statement was intended to convey that Vegemite is obviously superior in virtually all respects. I asked 12 Australians and they all said so.

Both are awesome. I really liked the Guinness version of Marmite they used to do.

I like both. Marmite tastes mostly like salt, while Vegemite tastes like veggie bouillon. Vegemite has the texture of frosting, Marmite has the texture of honey.

The edge goes to Vegemite.

Nothing better than a nice bowl of shredded wheat crusted with either and some hot milk.

Yeah, I have to take B12 vitamins, not because I am deficient, but for some reason I have Hyperhomocysteinemia and B12 helps breaks homocysteine down.

I had the same once. It did weird things.

But there are shots and pills that refill your B12 reserves for several years. Judging by the reactions to Xmite here, I'm pretty happy with the pills I took.

One of Marmite's advertising campaigns here (not the "My Mate Marmite" one) was "you either love it or you hate it". It's what everyone thinks, so embrace it.

(Dr. Pepper ran a campaign basically against people who claim both to hate it and not have tried it. I don't think it was a great success - it's still not anything like as widely distributed as its obvious competitors. But then I have tried it. A mouthful was enough to tell why it deserves not to be popular. And really going off topic, my current beverage of choice in a can is San Pellegrino Limonata.)

Challenge accepted.

You know why Australia is surrounded by water, don't you ?
Spoiler (click to reveal)
BECAUSE OF VEGEMITE THE REST OF THE WORLD DON'T WANT TO HAVE A BORDER WITH YOU.

If Vegemite was a ice cream flavor, it would be ...

You don't. I do - thicker, in fact

But no, that's not how to introduce someone to vegemite.

I do it relatively thick but not as thick as peanut butter.

Now that you have talked about pizza.

I have read that only Brazil have multiple flavored pizzas, but all photos of Israelian pizzas I saw were half-this/half-that

Does Israel actually have multiple flavored pizzas? Do other countries have then? Or is it only Brazil?

What do you mean by multiple flavoured pizzas?
d10-1 Different varieties are available?
d10-2 Multiple toppings on the same pizza, but it is one pizza with the same toppings?
d10-3 Half and half, or four quarters e.g. different sets of toppings on different parts of the one pizza?
d10-4 Something I haven't yet thought of

I have read , multiple times, that it is a Brazilian thing, but it sounds so natural to me taht i doubt it. Would like to know the truth about it

I've never seen a pizza take-away shop that won't do it (and most offer it up front). I know of a pizza cafe that doesn't like doing it (but demand forces them to), but then they are pretentious arses
