I just got the intact scenery package from Mantic and uploaded some pictures. You get a lot of stuff and it'll be great to combine this with the ruined scenery to get more interesting broken down buildings.

Here's all the stuff you get (not including the minis and the playmat comes from deadzone. I don't have the base game yet.

Buck yells, "Watch out behind you Xiuhcoatl!"

Sidney is going to leap to the rescue!

I can't wait to get all of the add-on stuff like this in the next couple weeks. All my martians are painted, now I'm still painting my US soldiers.

I'm actually thinking now of "breaking" some of the windows so that people can see and shoot through them. Maybe even break open a door or 2 also. I guess I'll wait and see how this looks with the ruined terrain and decide then.

Looks great! Does anyone know if mantic has plans for tanks and alien walkers?

Rules for the Giant Stompy Robot and tanks are forthcoming.

Did you get these as part of the KS or a retail purchase from Mantic?

KS

They aren't an exclusive so should be available at retail at some point.

Thanks - I have this pack in my KS also, but haven't received anything yet. Did they send you this ahead of the actual game for some reason?

I just got this and a deadzone scenery pack. A friend is getting a large order with an extra base game for me. They seem to be shipping orders from smallest to largest so this came first.

Are there plans for a mass market release of the intact scenery, or was this a KS exclusive thing?

It hasn't been announced, but they didn't say KS exclusive. Mantic doesn't really do exclusives anyway, even the things they call exclusive are still available directly from them.

I doubt they had the molds made without plans to release them fully.

I painted up a couple of sample pieces to see how to do the grouting:

I'm actually currently painting my ruined scenery and went this route for the grouting:

Base coat of a standard red acrylic, followed by a wet wash of a medium grey to fill in the cracks (wiping of excess from the tops of the bricks), then drybrush your base coat over again. Then I'm actually adding a darker red and lighter red and painting several individual bricks on each piece in each color so the walls aren't such a uniform red color.

Once I have the 3 red colors applied (standard, light, and dark red) I washed in a black and wiped the excess from the tops with a paper towel and also pressed into the cracks just a little bit so that the grey grouting can come through but still has darker tones for shadows.
