I have played patchistory only once, but I think the game has a big potential and I can't wait to play it again
I guess there are much more expierienced players who have already figured out some nice strategy combos: leadres and wonders combined with trade routes, buildings and so on...
Any ideas ?

Yes. there are a bunch of combos throughout all the ages.

Unfortunately, there isn't any you can plan on. The cards are random. You'll only see 20 cards from each age (4-player game) out of I believe 30. Then you'll only see 50% of those cards since you'll only see the black or the white side. The white sides don't combo, so effectually you'll only see a third of all the black cards in a given play-through. Now about a third of the black cards are just special buildings which don't combo either, so really, you can't expect anything to combo or plan for a combo.

You just have to be able to read and adapt to the play environment as the cards come out. The best adapting civilization will win.
