Hi there!

I have tried to find PnPs suitable for children (6-11 years old). Can anyone give me any suggestions?
I don't mind making the games myself, but it would be a big plus if the kids could try to make them on their own.

Are there some geek-lists on this topic?

The kids in the "after-school club" love playing games and they don't have that much money to spend, so I though this could be a fun idea.

Thanks in advance

One thought - if you have or can get hold of card sleeves, one easy option for any card-based game is to print the cards on regular paper and sleeve them in front of regular (or preferably blank) playing cards.

(I don't know of any lists of kid-friendly PnP games, I'm afraid.)

Chunky Fighters has been a big hit with kids. They can certainly help build the game as long as you cut out the labels before hand.

+1 for Chunky Fighters

Another one would be Smash Monster Rampage!. There is a bit of cutting, but most of it could be printed on cardstock and cut with scissors. For added fun, you can make some 3D monsters using the files at Cubecraft.

My Small Adventures postcard games were geared for that.

Small Adventures - 1-2-3 - Postcard Games

Some of the other games in the contest thread would fit too.

Another one I like is Fairy Tale in my Pocket. It's solitaire and difficult. There's a nice book of scenarios too.

Mountain Climber is a light weight push-your-luck game. Kids can build it easily. Just print, cut out a few cards, gather a few pawns and tokens and a fair number of standard six-sided dice. The cards, which are used for hidden action selection, do not get shuffled and need not be perfect as long as they are not obviously marked.

Have a look at Someone... run a PnP contest for kids' games, please!? :D.

Also, try asking the same question in the Print and Play guild's forum as well.
