Thanks for picking it up, invaluable resource that Rob started and a lot to keep up with I'm sure.

I guess it's a great idea for an app, but I hesitate to install it because it wants to view the usb-data (pictures etc.). Why is that?

Um...
I don't know! I'll take a look at the code and see if I can figure it out.I'm betting it is bebecause of the way squads are saved, but I am not certain. Which is a little embarrassing blush

I believe it's needed to import/export squads, and for creating the fleet build sheet.

I think I added it with the intent of moving malformed data files to somewhere that a user could access and send along for debugging. I don't think it's needed for anything else.

Well I guess it could be removed then?

I suspect it would boost downloads as people tend to be hesitant with installing apps when they suspect that their pictures are soon to be seen online

While making a Mirror Universe list I noticed I could not add the Fleet Captain resource to Benjamin Sisko as he is not unique. I then looked at allthe MU captains, uphrades, and ships - none of them show as unique.

I think this is an error and adding the pre-fix of MU to the name and the unique classification to the cards would be a solution until a better one is found.

Nice catch. I only check uniqueness, not mirror uniqueness. Will update that.

I'm still seeing duplicates of the following generic ships;

Breen Battle Cruiser
Maquis Raider
K'T'Inga Class
D'deridex Class
Romulan Bird of Prey Class (TOS one)

That's because those ships have more than one generic variant. One Maquis Raider has a rear arc, while the other does not, for example. The variance for the others is all in the upgrade bars.

Ah true I didnt even notice that. However both Maquis Raiders show a rear firing arc but different upgrade slots.

Is it possible with the Generic ships to show the upgrade slots on the selection window. (IE similar to the unique ship text)
Such as below for example?

C: x
T: x
W: x

Thanks!

Is it possible to use this to track your collection of ships?

There is an option under settings to select the enabled sets, so you can set it so only the ships you own appear as options.

Any idea of when the next update is going to hit Android/Google Play?

Thanks again for picking this app up and running with it! This is the singular most important app I use for STAW!

Thanks for maintaining and updating this app -- super helpful!

The officer cards don't seem to work for me, on my phone or tablet.
i.e., I add the recourse, but don't seem able to add individual officer cards to crew members, or at all. (Is this a known issue)?

Thanks again!!

Hi,

First off this app is massively useful, and I can't thank all involved enough for keeping updated.

Now I appreciate the 3+ ships a month is difficult to keep up with so I'm going to ask - is there anything the BGG community can do to help keep the app up-to-date?

Personally I cant help on the coding side, but I might be able to help with data entry or testing.

Regards

Unfortunately Data Entry is the easy part. We have that under control. The problems are
1. WizKids likes to break fleet building rules in new ways. This makes coding/testing take a bit long.
2. My Boss quit, making my day job continue to eat up all of my time. This limits the amount of time I can work on the 1st problem.

That said, I am in local testing for last months wave and some Sakharov fixes. I will be pushing it out to alpha testers soon.

Thank goodness!! Thomas, I really appreciate the work you are putting into this and am grateful that you are still on this project! My Battle Group uses this app almost exclusively and we were afraid that it wasn't going to be updated again.

Our sincerest appreciation and gratitude to you, sir!!
