Can concealed units be placed into OP Fire without being unconcealed? I would assume once they fire of course they are no longer concealed.

Can a concealed unit establish LOS for a mortar attack and stay concealed?

Can units in op fire establish LOS for mortar crews?

Yes, yes, and I have to check, but I think so.

Units in op fire can provide LOS for mortar as they are not fatigued.

I've never understood the value of concealed units.

They have the ability to stay hidden until they want to attack. It is good for when you are on the defense and don't want to watch your units get blown up right away. The enemy has to get adjacent to you to "spot" you instead of standing off and firing at you. It is helpful when you have an AT squad hiding in a woods and you want to wait for a tank to get in range.
