I thought I'd try to give this a little more publicity as there's an unfortunate bug in the new app that would be better fixing sooner than later. It was already mentioned in another thread, but here's a dedicated post.

Basically, with a doppelganger and minion in play, there is no pause between the doppelganger script and the doppel-minion script. This could mean that a doppelganger is still performing her night action while the werewolves are being told to stick their thumbs out for the doppelminion.

There is still a proper pause after the doppelminion script, however.


Please fix this!

The 2.0.1 update, which addresses the Doppelgänger/Minion pause issue, has been released on the Google Play store and the Kindle Fire store.

The iOS update is awaiting approval from Apple; I'll post here once it is available.

I don't know where to put this, but since we're talking about App fixes...

Is there anyway to remove the description to what the characters do?

I mean, instead of going, "Trouble, wake up. Take two other cards... Trouble maker go to sleep." Is there a way to just remove that description in the middle? I think that would save thirty seconds from the night phase for my group.

Just a suggestion. >>

But also, I love the new app!

I would love an option for that.

Just a "troublemaker, open your eyes", "troublemaker, close your eyes"

We turn down the role timer so low because it doesnt take into account the description being massively long.

We do that also (2-3 seconds). Also, the village idiot has additional 5 seconds pause. With 10 players, maybe he'll need a bit more...

Will there be a German version?

Right now I have a mix of English and German in the app and the app stops at the screen "close your eyes".

That got me thinking and testing, don't know if this is intended or not.

With doppelganger and village idiot, regardless of 'double first doppelganger' option, the time for first doppelphase is role timer + villager idiot's additional 5 sec. Without VI, doppel's first phase timer is doubled with that option.

Eg. role timer 3 (double first dop), with VI it's 8 secs, without VI 6. Not a problem this way, but with, say, 10 seconds role timer, doppel has 15 with VI and 20 without.

I want to mention about one more bug, it has been noticed on Samsung S3 and Samsung S4, while you are in the app, the volume controls doesn't work, you have to exit the app, volume up/down the media and then return to the app, this wasn't an issue on the original app
