Big surprise tonight when Martin suggested to play England with 6 players. It was supposed to be the map on which he had the hardest time. We found this suspect but why not playing this map that is always very challenging.

Nathalie began the bets for the first turn at 4 but everybody gave up and she was the only one to pay and she choose loco. action even if the set up of good was tough. She started near London, Martin and Mario in the south, Laurence and Marc in the North West and Pierre in the middle to block Marc and Laurence in their corner. In second round Marc prepared his favorite strategy of betting for loco to make 2 interesting shipments but Pierre took first move action to deny him one of these 2 goods that he could ship for 3 income. It was a tough blow to Marc and he had to back 5 spaces on the income track. He had to take 4 shares in next turn to survive but we were careful since we saw many return in the past from this guy when he had a disastrous beginning, Laurence also had a tough start and she had to take 5 shares in this turn. On turn 3 Mario took the last exit south of London to try to connect Dover but Nathalie urbanized Brighton and connected Dover , so it would be more difficult for him to connect this city. Game was very exciting at this point and we had no idea who would win this game. Interaction was great and we had to use the other players network often. At this time Laurence took the last exit from London and Pierre and Marc would have to use her link to ship their red goods. So Cambridge became very crowdy and 1 turn later there was no exits left. To make things easier Nathalie decided to build in this region to gain access to many goods. Pierre then came back with 2 shipments of 5 income and was able to stop at 20 income with no friends to push him. Martin had a quiet game but his network was very simple and linear and he was the player with the lowest number of shares. He's one of the best to manage games with 6 players since these games are so short and you don't have time to build and extensive network and ship many goods for 6 income. He won the game with a loco. of 4 only.

Again we had the proof that a scenario with very simple rules can be very fun and challenging. It's also very good with 6 players.

Final scoring:
Martin: 61
Pierre: 57
Mario: 42
Nathalie: 30
Laurence: 27
Marc-André: 25
