How well does this game play with 2 players? I can normally only play with my wife for at home gaming.

Very good, although depending on what kind of gamers you are, Mandatory Quests are kind of mean - it's pretty easy just to remove those from the deck though.

Thanks! I think i would leave them in, though, as my wife and I are pretty nasty towards each other in games angry

It feels smooth and not as restrictive as 4+ player games. You get to do a lot of quests which I like.

Wife and I play mostly this game in 2p, great playtime and enjoy it more than playing with more players because more quest's can be finished, for us its better in 2p than more

"Inevitable Betrayal" is weird with 2 players but, other than that, I like it fine.

I wouldn't play it two players without all the expansions though. Just the base game two players is very dry and repetitive with obvious choices. The expansions make the game much more competitive with choices that are more tactical.

I enjoy it with two, but once both players know the game well, it's a bit of luck that determines the winner. I find with 3 or 4 players the luck element takes a back seat to tactics/strategy. More players throws luck back in.

PS> These comments are assuming experienced players. Whilst people are learning the game it's a non factor.
