Are there probably going to be Christmas sales during December for Cool Stuff Inc, Cardhaus, Miniature Market, or Amazon? Might they be as good as the black Friday sales?

To me, the best sales traditionally have been Fantasy Flight's Winter Sale, Days of Wonder's Christmas freebies (with a $50 order), and Black Friday sales from Miniature Market, Cool Stuff, Amazon and ThoughtHammer.

FFG's Winter sale is under way. Not as spectacular as past years, but I picked up Gears of War.

I haven't heard anything about Days of Wonder.

Miniature Market's Black Friday sale starts tomorrow.

Don't know about Cool Stuff.

Amazon's sales are already under way, and seem to continue for several weeks. There's usually a day they have a whole slew of games, and in the past have include multiple FFG and Mayfair titles.

ThoughtHammer is gone.

To add: http://boardgamewarehouse.com/ is a pretty new site that has some great prices too, and their Black Friday sale is going on right now.

hopefully they will be *Holiday* sales as to not exclude all the other holidays (Perl Harbor Remembrance Day, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Festivus, Boxing Day, Kwanzaa, New Years Eve) in December

So the hot deals police have expanded jurisdiction to PC police, as well.
The spelling police radioed in to say it's actually "Pearl" Harbor.
Punctuation police also reporting that it's New Year's Eve.

I'm pretty sure the holidays don't actually buy things and hence can't be excluded. The "Christmas" sale is a sale around Christmas time, not a sale that is exclusively for people named Christmas to buy things at and hence excludes no one.

Is that Minnie Perl, Perl the language, or Pearl Harbor?

I thought it was remembering yet another depressing John Steinbeck novel...

I'm pretty sure a list that includes Festivus is tongue-in-cheek. But you go ahead and get your anti-PC rage on if you want. It's the holiday season, after all.

Map that sentence's structure or the argument doesn't stand.

Perhaps on your maps, but it is an American base and therefore leaves out the "u," thank you very much.

I believe it is Pearl Harbor, as in the U.S. naval base bombed by the Germans in WWII.

No, definitely Pearl Harbour ... I have fond memories of an early December spent in this quaint New Zealand town. I was quite surprised that JeffyJeff had been there too,
