Half of our group went for a second game of Age of Steam tonight. Western USA map is always a tough scenario since your netwotk has to be contigous for most of the game and each turn is critical. There is always a chance of being caught in a corner of the map.

The bets were high right at the beginning of the game. Some players saw interesting opportunities. Marc-André started northeast with the urbanization action, Nathalie was in the south, Sophie in the middle part of the eastern part and Michel began his network on the western coast. Nathalie and Michel builded network that were very expensive and they had a hard time since they had to take more shares than the others. Bets were very high for almost all game long with plyers betting 10$ for urbanization or loco. On one occasion Marc-Andre bet very high to steal urbanization from Nathalie and she was caught in the south without much color different city to connect. Sophie had a break during the game when she was able to get loco. action when she was on 4 th place. If you add this to her very efficient network with many loops she was finally able to win this game.

Once again a player from the east coast won the game, If you start from the west coast, the challenge is greater and you no room for error. Game was very close until the last turns and we were not sure who would win the game.

Final scoring:
Sophie: 90
Marc-André: 82
Michel; 80
Nathalie: 60
