On the BBC news this morning, new regulations that have come in require video bloggers to clearly state before the video starts, whether it is a paid advert.

Might be the start of filtering out many of the blatant advert reviews we get on BGG.

Not really, the only UK reviewers that I know of are SUSD and they just review what they want.

UK law doesn't affect any other country.

Speaking of reviewers blatant advertising though did anyone else feel the dice towers 12 games for christmas videos were just blatant Coolstuff advertisement for 12 minutes and barely useful suggestions?

It's been quite long since I considered The Dice Tower as a source for useful suggestions. Their taste in games differs too much from mine.

The Dice Tower make it clear why they suggest the games. Clearly not just a 12 minute add for Cool Stuff. As a set of gift ideas it would have been pointless to suggest obscure out of print games.
