At a roleplaying convention (Fastaval, Denmark, 2014) I stumbled upon a group of players playing a big wargame that I found most interesting, but can't recall the name of.

The players each took long turns, each turn playing a new civilisation, conquering as much as possible in the limited time and then watch as their civilisation gets torn apart by the other players in their turns. Only to play a new civ in their next turn again. Different areas amounted different amount of points for different eras, i.e. America was not worth much until lategame while Egypt/the Middle East/India being of high value early game.

Does anyone know what game I'm talking about?
