Apparantly the game Polarity has won a science games award here in the UK (it was mentioned fleetingly on kids news programme "Newsround" a few minutes ago). The reporter pumped the game saying how good it was. I can't remember exactly what award it won though so any help would be much loved.

I had a quick look on the CBBC Newsround website, but couldn't see the story. I did, however, find this enchanting story that sounds right up your street:

Awwwwww how cute.
I've owned two snakes now, the first while I was at university, living with friends. My housemate had a hamster and suggested we should introduce the hamster to the snake so they could be "friends". He held out the hamster to my snake to say "hello" and, erm, my snake went for it, grabbed the hamster in his mouth, wrenching it from my friend's hands. I was left holding a dangling snake with a living, squeaking hamster in it's jaws. A few shakes later and the hamster was free.
Very close call.
