It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. And we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.

Always assumed they were named after Justin Morgan (of Justin Morgan had a Horse fame) but doing some research just now I found out the company was founded by Texan Joe Justin.

He pioneered stitching the top of the boots to keep them from folding in and his wife Annie pioneered selling them by mail (with the use of a self-measuring kit) 120 years pre-Zappos.

Granted, it would be very cool to be named Zappo.

I was returning from the Peace Corps, and traveling through South Africa where I kept seeing a store: Mr. Price. The place cracked me up. My store! A whole line of products under my name! And my dad (also Mr. Price) was a high school English teacher, so I walked into a store, asked the see the manager, said hi, told him I liked the store and what my name was, and he gave me a Mr. Price cap. My dad wore that thing for years.

There is a road, no simple highway, between the dawn and the dark of night, and if you go no one may follow, that path is for your steps alone. Ripple in still water, when there is no pebble tossed, nor wind to blow.

To seek the sacred river Alph, to walk the caves of ice, to break my fast on honey dew and drink the milk of paradise... I had heard the whispered tales of immortality, the deepest mystery, from an ancient book I took a clue.

I think that all right-thinking people in this country are sick and tired of being told that ordinary, decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am.

My wife's first first husband had the surname 'Grecian', so you can imagine the hair-care product he was associated with...

I apparently share a name with a writer, David Means, who is known for his short stories. He's four years younger than me, so I had the name first (actually my great-grandfather who staked land in the Cherokee Strip Land Rush had the name before I did). So, if I ever publish anything, I'll have to use a nom de plume in order to avoid confusion.
