Hilarious stuff.

On a side note: You sure Knizia hangs on to them this long or does he toss them to the wayside and get some fresh blood in there.

I'm sure a typical conversation goes down like for fresh blood something like this:

FB "Hey Dr. I love your RA auction game wanna give it a spin"

DRK "Son I haven't played RA nor any of my games since they've been published."

FB "Why is that Dr.?"

DRK "Cuz as soon as the game is polished and flows decently it's no fun anymore since the suggestions run dry, crazy events don't occur, games don't come to a screeching halt, people don't cry foul for blantant unfairness."

FB "Oh gotcha so that's sounds like a blast, so where do I sign the NDA stating that if I so as much say a peep my bank account is liquidated?"

Be on your guard. There are older and fouler things than Orcs in the deep places of the world.

Do you suppose that has the same connotation in King's English as it does in American?

When I think about fingers worn down from pushing something around on a board, the last thing I think about is a Euro game. Try a monster wargame, first.

He should have a calculator to help compute the algorithm to see who actually wins the game.

laugh where are the pockets full of "lip balm", from those being 'chapped' when they've been affixed upon someone's "bum"? Not only THAT, but just HOW did 'he' manage to "pry" his'n away long enough to effect a "posing" in this instance?

Should that be "hear his master's call" with an apostrophe? Because the meaning changes completely without it. (Or perhaps that's the way you meant it?)

I'm still trying to figure out the physics of how that sling is staying suspended. It lays on the shoulder like it is draped over the back. It lifts up under the arm like it is suspended around the neck.

Never even heard Reiner say NDA.

When I first played The Lord of the Rings Reiner did make a point of stressing that the fact that he was working on The Lord of the Rings was not to be made public. But only once, and only once or twice since.

But the hair is the miss. I'm not one of his weekly regulars (I live too far away) so I mostly see games after some work (there are exceptions). But "take it away and burn it" has been their first reaction on more than one occasion I've heard of. Reiner likes (intelligent) disagreement - all "it's great" is useless to him.
