Hi, I am trying to get a buddy into this game. So we are going to start from the beginning. Is there a place to find decks that are only made from the card pool at a specific time? For example I was thinking we would do the core set and Shadows of Mirkwood cycle using cards through the 6th AP. Is there a place I can find some existing decklists that only use those cards? I could build the decks myself, but if they exists already then it will save me time.
thanks,
Chad

You can find here a lot of decks. Do a search or just browse through. I've done the same thing when I started.

I also recommend http://talesfromthecards.wordpress.com/ for all things LOTR LCG related. There are more blogs, but I think this is my favorite

I have been going to Beorn's site for a long time, I guess I kind of missed this part:
https://hallofbeorn.wordpress.com/decks/

way at the bottom, exactly what I wanted.
thanks!
edit:
The Tenth Nazgul today posted on his facebook page, and it reminded me about his series and how THEY played those scenarios using cards only available at that time. So I think using those decks will also be what I was looking for. If anyone has another resource add it on, but at least I hope new players will see this thread if they have the same question I did.
I can't believe I forgot about those videos!?!

Bump. All great resources. and great question.

I always forget the tenth nazgul - b/c I prefer to read then watch, but his decks are pretty good and true to the scenarios at the time. I believe he adds two of each core set (if not three for online play).
