here is the build:
4th Division Battleship(36) or generic(34)
Gelnon(3)
independent fleet captain (Federation)(5)
Anything else
(note total is 44 or 42 depending on generic or named)
any other ships can be picked
should be an op legal build to.

Seriously, no.

This is like one of those Woman's Day Magazine recipes where you take a premade pie crust, load it with premade cheesecake filling, top it with Cool-Whip, and call it a "delicious homemade cheesecake".

Oh my god, they make premade cheesecake filling?

I'm getting some and mixing it into a quart of pistachio ice cream.

If I were trying to make the battleship less horrible, I'd focus on (1) making it crazy-maneuverable and (2) beefing offense.

Jem'Hadar Battleship (34)
Gul Dukat (5)
Jennifer Sisko (4)
Power Grid (3)
Auxiliary Control Room (4)
Ship SP: 50

Total Build SP: 55

There you go. Does a 1 Full About without taking an Aux and can disable 2 upgrades at the beginning of the game. Dukat let's you both scan and battlestations or lock and battlestations each turn.

I'd just swap Dukat onto OP's build (maybe bring Boheeka). Fed Indy Fleet Captain is way better than skilled helmsman (especially with the new rulings) since you can do it every turn at no cost. I tried the same thing out once against a voyager dreadnought and it can pull off some shots. I don't know if I'd bring it to an OP.

Who needs a build, just take a purple marker and give it a rear firing arc. whistle

Seriously though this ships maneuver restrictions and lack of firing arc make it probably the most "over balanced" ship in the game.

that is probably better than mine
oh and fyi I only have the one dominion ship right now which is obviously the battleship

And that's a U-turn plus the ship's normal move. But a 225 degree turn does seem a little excessive.

I've been running the battleship, faction pure, Dukat, Boheeka, Dorsal weapon and seskal? I'm not sure spelling but you can disable to add 2 to your attack if you've got no shields....

The plan has been to move slowly behind a cruiser and 3rd wing, to battle station every turn with either a scan or evade... To try to get a primary weapon salvo off before switching to the dorsal... Occasionally throwing 5 at 360 degrees

Running the Battleship at an OP event is on my to-do list. I love to take strange builds and make them work.
