So I've been playing this routinely for the last couple of months and run about 60/40 win ratio. I'd love to get some constructive criticism feedback on improving that rate.

Blue Squadron B-wing

Tarn Mison
R2-d2

Roark Garnet
Recon Specialist
Blaster Turret

X-wing Rookie
R5-P9

Total build is 99 points.

Thanks in advance.

I count your build as being 96 points:

Blue B-Wing (22)
Tarn w/R2 unit (24)
Rookie w/R5-P9 (24)
Roark w/BT and RS (26)

= 96

I would swap the Rookie for Biggs with R2-F2 or R5-P9. That'll bring you up to 100 points and prevent the enemy from targeting Roark to get rid of your magic PS 12 ship early on.

Or, you could put Advanced Sensors on your B-Wing instead, enabling you to get some good positioning in perhaps, or to take an action then make a red manoeuvre...?

Tarn is 23, and r2 is 4 for a total of 27.

R2-astromech.

Of course, R7 would be preferred on Tarn.

AH! You mean R2-D2! Sorry; I thought you meant a basic R2 unit.

What other ships do you have access to? I would still be tempted to swap the Rookie for Biggs just to help keep Roark alive (I know he would be my number one target).

My bad, I should have been more specific. I own everything.

Regarding Roark, I tend to set him to the middle of the map and then fly hard left or right away from the enemy setup but within range of at least one other ship. Then I either use it to clog up movement so an enemy bumps it or I race past to stay out of arc. I've sacrificed it a few times to set up some kill shots at key moments in the game.

Without altering the list too drastically, how about:

Roark with Ion Turret (because that doesn't require a focus token)
Blue Squadron B-Wing
Garven Dreis (hear me out)
Biggs with R5-P9

So Roark gives anyone you like PS12.
Garven fires before Biggs and gives him his Focus.
Biggs fires, keeping his Focus for evading and Garven's Focus to regain a shield.

The enemy has to target Biggs, while Roark's Ion Cannon can get people floating dead in space for you.

I like Moldy Crow on Roark to accumulate a few focus tokens before engaging, rather than Recon that can't acquire a focus to spend while stressed or bumped.

I like this idea. I went with the recon specialist because I was tired of rolling focus symbols after I had to use my only focus token for the turret.

Garven is a good idea, too. Thanks for the suggestions.

This is where I am at with it:
Roark Garnet
Blaster Turret
Moldy Crow
Recon Specialist

Tarn Mison
R7 Astromech

Rookie Pilot
R5-P9

Blue Squadron

Still running about the same odds but when it wins, it just destroys.
