Friend' birthday came up and wanting to get a gift. She loved cards against humanity, but that game gets stale after the 5th or so time. I suggested ganmes like Tokaido, Small World, Bohnanza, Settlers of Catan, and her partner told me she prob wont like them cause of the instructions involved, prefers pick up and play games.

I already have Dixit and played it with them b4 so wont be anything new.

Any suggestions? Thanks

I think machi koro even though it cant get any simpler in my opinion, is still considered an instructional game, I guess it would be more of a drinking game, brainless etc.

Thanks for the suggestions, I checked them out, and I forgot to mention I have love letter as well.

What about games Similar to Get bit, quite turn off your brain and play game. Sorry to bother you guys with this, I'm frustrated myself.

I'm on mobile so pardon me not linking:

Hanabi
Red7
Sushi Go

Card games seem to work best for me in those situations.

how about Saboteur? Very simple and the traitor adds something a little different.
Love Letter and For Sale should also get a mention. Both are fantastic games with very simple rulesets.

Depends on what kind of personality she has, but i think it will mostly be geared towards party games.

If she is outgoing and likes roleplaying/acting, or hidden role games she might like
The Resistance.

Fun little short games, everyone can learn within 5 minutes and everyone seem to enjoy.
No Thanks!
Diamant
Love Letter

If she likes dice games Machi Koro could also be a great gift.

Time line, although fun, doesn't have that much replay value IMHO.

Once you played it a dozen times, you remember a lot of the years and have to put the game away for half a year or so, before it can be played again,
