I played this once a few years ago and it was SO cool! Anyway, I started digging around and discovered that Decision Games is reprinting it, so I called them up. I was certain that it would be years in the queue, but I was told that it will definitely be produced - maybe as early as early 2007.

This game is like Vinci or Britannia, but from the inside. You watch your clan grow and tear a piece for itself out of the empire and then suffer the same types of problems. It is a fascinating game that helps you understand the phenomenon of the invasions that brough the Roman Empire down.

In the wonderful game, Bonaparte at Marengo, this is how to get nasty Frenchies out of a village.

Thanks for the reminder! I have to pre-order this, only having heard of the original but never having played it. Sounds like a great game.

Very much so... Another one and a half year has passed...

I tried to send in a pledge order today, but got an "internal server" message back.

Is it Decision Games whom I should contact to get an "OK" for posting the rules here once I make a nicer and newer layout?

Or is it someone else?
