It didn't take long for Lines of Action to hook me - the simplicity of the rules and complexity of gameplay was irresistible. Unlike the prescribed formations of Chess, strategy in LoA is fluid - every game is unique.

In an effort to garner more interest in this classic game, I've started a Lines of Action strategy blog, which covers both basic strategy for beginners and advanced strategy & theory for those looking to improve their game. I use real game examples to illustrate everything from opening blocks, controlling the end game, understanding game flow, and maintaining a positional advantage.

Get in touch if you have any questions or suggestions for topics to cover or just want to play a game with me!
