Subject: Twitter has awful customer support rss

I got an email asking me to confirm my account, so I did and it took me to "my account" which was someone elses.

Only problem is it is impossible to contact twitter except for specific instances they have pre-allowed. None of which fit this situation.

You could, but there is actually a link, somewhere on that confirm email page that, says "This is not my email".

I discovered this when my daughter's email was being used for someone's email address. Just hit that button and they remove its affiliation.

But that was a couple years ago, so they may have changed, though I don't see why.

Yup, I tried that. But only after I had confirmed it was my account.

At that point there is no going back.

Yup, I tried that. But only after I had confirmed it was my account.

At that point there is no going back.


Then go in and deactivate it, I say!
