That was the most epic game I have played in this or RotR! 4 villains and 3 henchmen killed. Seriously a lot of fun.

This one was TOUGH. We had to "ring out" on our first attempt due to running out of time.

The problem we had was that (4-player game) we had 5 locations at the start of the game and WOULDNT YOU KNOW IT, the first Villain was the 50th(!) card we saw. By this time, the Blessings deck was running way low and we didn't have time to make it to Krelloort since he is forced to the bottom of the 6th location. Totally brutal.

We reset and tried it again, managing to make it to Mancatcher Cove with about 12 Blessings left in the deck. We tend to overuse the special ability of the Man's Promise (ship: discard a Blessing deck card to explore again) when we have a good active spell or effect like Fire Sphere or something. We killed Krelloort with exactly 1 Blessing left in the timer deck and everyone would have died on a hand reset. WHEW!

Great scenario- very exciting! #2 (The Toll of the Bell) and #5 (The Secret of Mancatcher Cove) were both fantastic scenarios and better than anything we played in RotR.

Funny. Those are 2 of our least favorite scenarios so far. After the Toll of the Bell, my wife considered just abandoning the campaign.

Some of us really enjoyed the difficulty level of RotR, and are nervous that S&S might prove to be too difficult for our tastes. She would rather be replaying RotR right now.
