A major casino in Las Vegas has just been robbed and the crooks believe they’ve gotten away clean. This is a possibility if they can keep from killing each other while trying to find the rats in the group. There is a total of $103,000,000 to be shared amongst eleven robbers. Whoever is left standing at the end with the most money will be winners of this deadly battle.

The eleven robbers are sitting in a room together with the money piled high in the center of the table. Tensions are running high and the mistrust is running even higher. Will there even be anyone alive at the end of the splitting of the pot to take the money?

Rules –

Lynch will be at 6pm bgg with secondary orders at 8pm bgg. Night falls at 9pm bgg.

This is a werewolf game based on Ludovic Maublanc’s Ca$h’n Gun$. The game will be played over several rounds, with a day and night cycle in each round. A day cycle will look like this:

1. Pot announced.
2. Bullet cards and Target played in “Spoiler” post.
3. Targets announced.
4. Chicken out or stick with it.
5. Results announced and money divided.
6. Night falls and werewolf actions take place.

Each player gets three wound markers and eight Bullet cards. Once a person uses their three wound markers they are dead and removed from the game. The Bullet cards are broken down like this: One Kill card, Two Bang cards and Six Clic, clic, clic cards. Once a player uses a Bullet card it is lost for the rest of the game and may not be reused. There are exceptions to both rules that are explained later in the rules.

Moderator will announce the denominations of money that is being played for during that round. Each day, seven new items of money will be added to the pot. The denominations are $5,000,000, $2,000,000, $1,000,000 and $500,000. At the end of the cycle the money will be divided evenly among those still standing. Change cannot be made for the money available each round. If the the bills on the table do not split evenly the money will not be handed out. Money can be left in the pot and carried over from one day to the next.

Each day each player will choose one of their three Bullet cards, “Clic, clic, clic,” “Bang,” or “Kill.”

“Clic, clic, clic” – No shot is fired.
“Bang” – A shot is fired.
“Kill” – A shot is fired and is always a hit. “Kill” cards occur first in the shooting round. Even if a player chickens out, the “Kill” card still takes a life point.

The player will also choose who they are aiming at in this spoiler. This can be done with text such as: “Aim Belash – Card Bang.”

The cards are chosen in the main thread and are to be hidden by a spoiler and a purplish colour.
Spoiler (click to reveal)
. Please note that spoilers will be used for “Staying Put” or “Chickening Out” in the respective stages.

Spoiler with some spaces:
[o ][COLOR=#CCCCFF ] [/COLOR ][/o ]

At lynch time the moderator announces who is pointing their gun at which player. Each player then has two hours to post whether they are “Staying Put” or “Chickening Out.” This will be done in the aforementioned spoiler. At the end of the two hours, the moderator will announce the results. This includes who chickened out and received a “Shame” token, who stayed in, who got shot and who was still standing and what money they received.

For each Shame token you receive, you must pay $500,000 at the end of the game from your winnings.

At that point night has fallen and the two rats get to fire their one extra shot each, the seer gets their view and the doctor gets to heal one hit point from another player.

The game ends when all of the rats are killed, the rats equal the crooks or the eight rounds of the game are over. Thus it is possible to win a major (Most money) and minor victory (Got rid of the other team). The rats get all of the money if they eliminate the crooks and friends.

Roles –

All players have three (3) life points for the game, unless healed by the doctor or due to a special role.

Rats (2) (EVIL) – Trying to take the money for themselves. Each night each Rat gets a shot at another player in the game. Each shot does one (1) damage point. Rat’s can shoot at the same person. Rat’s can shoot each other. If noone is shot during the day, the Rats get an extra bullet.

Informant (1) (GOOD) – Each night gets to choose one person to determine whether or not they are a Rat. Wins with the Crooks

Doc (1) (GOOD) – Each night must choose one person to heal one life point. Wins with the Crooks.

Unlucky Thug (1) (GOOD) – Looks like a Rat to the Seer. Does not know s/he is the Unlucky Thug. Wins with the Crooks.

Crooks (6) (GOOD) – Your regular villagers, just trying to kill the Rats and get the money.

Specialty Roles –

1. To the Pain – Likes to be hurt. Has four wounds rather than three. The role will be revealed after the third shot.

2. Insane – Has a grenade that s/he likes to play with. If being aimed at can show that he is holding the grenade. If s/he is shot, the Insane will drop the grenade and all of those standing will be wounded by the explosion. The money carries over to the next round.

3. Double Barrelled Goodness – Rather than using a handgun, you have a sawed off shotgun hiding under the table. You can choose to pull it out during a gun battle and aim at a person with it. There is a 50% chance that each the person on the right and the left will receive a wound as well. There is a roll for each person.

4. Two Hands – When someone dies you can pick up their gun by utilizing your special power. Now you get to aim at two people and your bullet card applies to both.

5. Body Bagger – For each person that dies in the game, you get an additional $1,000,000 at the end of the game if you are still alive.

6. 7. Bad Aim – 2 – There are two cards that will be Bad Aim cards. One will allow a player to hit the person to the left of who they are aiming at while the other allows the player to hit the person to the right of where they are aiming.

8. Sharpshooter – After using the “Kill” card, can use the special power to pick it up and exchange it for another card.

9. Eyes of Coal – Can stare down someone pointing at them, causing the other player to drop their gun.

10. Ice Veins – Can read all of the other spoilers on one day to play their card last.

11. Kevlar – When you receive more than one wound in a round, you can put on your Kevlar vest that blocks all but one shot.

12. Slow Draw – After it has been announced who is aiming at who, you can pick your own target. During the first stage you still name your target, but by using your ability, you get to change it. You change is announced to everyone.

13. Super Coward – Every Shame marker earns you $500,000 at game end. You must have stayed in until the end at least once to earn the bonus.

14. Escape – You can chicken out while firing with your Bang card. Thus, if several people are firing at you, you can use your special ability to shoot and then chicken out, taking one of the attackers with you.

15. Still Here – Even if you chicken out or are hit, you can still get an equal split of the pot.

---------------------------------

The seating arrangement. We are pretending that the table is round. Seat one is where greek2me is sitting, seat two where CapAp is and seat eleven where jmilum is. The players will stay in their seats until they die or the game ends. If someone can import a nicer looking seating arrangement, I wouls like that very much! Seats were asssigned completely randomly.

Update seating arrangement in first post. You can now see who is to your left and right. I'll probably send out roles next Friday and have a very long D1.

Re: Ca$h'n Gun$ - Starts Oct 16.
Just for fun I will be sending out roles now. Feel free to post over the weekend if you're around. The game will be started officially Sunday night with all the shooting commencing on Monday.

If you have any questions, please ask them either here or by PM. I will answer all I can, though I am hosting a Games Day tomorrow and may not be able to get to the computer.

Otherwise, have fun.

Oh. And a flavour post to launch the game will come Sunday when the game officially begins.

Re: Ca$h'n Gun$ - Starts Oct 16.
Three black Buicks carrying some of Lupus Landing’s most hardened criminals drive through the streets in the seedier part of town. A bunch of warehouses, most of them abandoned years ago line the streets as a reminder of what could have been. The Buicks pull up in front of one of those broken down warehouses and a garage door opens. All three cars pull in to the warehouse and the door closes behind them.

Once parked, eleven people emerge from the vehicles. Overall they look to be a satisfied group, but there is a strange undercurrent among them. They seem to be on edge, eying each other like they might make a move on them to try and take the score for themselves. The trunks to the cars open and a few of the crooks reach in and take out bags of money. There are eight bags in all.

There is a large table with eleven chairs underneath a flickering light. A makeshift kitchen is just on the other side. This is the hideout for the Wolf gang. They run the town, striking at night and taking what they want. Only a few years ago gangs like this were kept off the street, but then it all changed for the worse. Who knew that one event could trigger the downfall of such a strong and proud community? The bags were dragged to the table. Some of the crooks were already sitting down cleaning out their handguns.

Minutes later all eleven crooks were sat around the table, each with a gun placed forebodingly in front of them. To the left of one of the crooks were eight sacks of the payoff. There were stares from across the table, verbal jabs thrown and one got the feeling that this would not be as easy as first suspected when dividing the pot.

And the game starts now. A little early, but what can I do?

The Cassandra Automatic Vote Tally System

Your Moderator has enabled the Cassandra Automatic Vote Tally system
for this game. In order for it to function correctly, your votes will
need to be formatted correctly. The following rules will explain what
you will need to do:

Players
1. All votes must be bolded

2. The entire vote statement must be bolded and enclosed in bracekts: [vote jmilum]

3. Only one unvote and/or vote per post. You may have both an unvote
and a vote in the same post, but the unvote must come before the vote

4. You may [unvote all] instead of naming the current player
you are voting

5. If you [vote nightfall] your vote will be locked (voting
nightfall is allowed in the same post as a vote for a player, but it
must come after it, this does not violate Rule #3)

6. Vote tallies will be automatically posted to the game thread hourly
if the tally has changed. The Tally and Vote Logs (for each game day)
are also available on the Cassandra game page.

7. If your vote is not counted be sure to check the Vote Log page and
see if it was marked invalid and why.

8. Case does not matter and simple typos will not cause the vote to fail.

9. You may [vote no lynch] if your game allows it.

10. Quotes below the vote/unvote statement may cause the vote to be missed,
especially if they contain bolded sections.

11. Non voting players will be listed in the tallies. This will only be
correct if the Moderator notes which players have been killed (see below)

Moderators
1. The moderator will need to post [Dawn] when the day begins
(after the night results are posted) and [Dusk] when the lynch
deadline has passed and the day is over. Votes will not be counted
after [Dusk] has been posted. They will be registered again
after [Dawn] is next posted.

2. You may include a day number in the dawn and dusk post for
informational purposes, but it will not be used by the system.
Cassandra will increment an internal counter each time it sees
[Dawn] no matter what day is shown in a dawn post (i.e.
[Dawn 3] the three is allowed but ignored)

3. After dusk has been posted, the Moderator may go to the game page
on Cassandra to request a Final Tally to be posted before the normal
scan period has elapsed (i.e. Game Y gets scanned at 45 min. after the
hour, if it lynches at 7pm the moderator may request a tally to be
posted from the game page before 7:45pm. it will also be posted
regardless of whether or not it has been changed since the last
posting) - Do this by clicking on the 'Retrieve Final Lynch Time Vote' link.

4. You will need to note which players were killed via the lynch or at night by
either posting [killed jmilum] in the thread, or by going to the game
page and editing the player list. When posting in the thread, be sure to post
[dusk] before posting the lynch kill, and post [dawn] before
posting the night kill.
Example:
A. lynch time has passed so post [dusk]
B. goto the game page and select a final tally to be posted
C. check the final tally and post [killed melsana]
D. after the night deadline has passed post [dawn]
E. post the night kill with [killed kima]

Your Moderator has chosen to use the Longest Held Vote method for a tiebreaker - This is just for Cassandra system, and there may be a different tiebreaker specified by your Moderator in the ruleset.

Re: Ca$h'n Gun$ - GIP - D1
The first bag of cash is thrown on the table. A bulk count shows that there is $14,000,000 to be handed out, quite a large amount. You can almost see some of your companions drooling over the prospect of taking the money and running. With some of them you notice that it seems like their hands have gotten closer to their guns. This won’t end well.

The bundles are: $5,000,000 - $5,000,000 - $1,000,000 - $1,000,000 - $1,000,000 - $500,000 - $500,000.

Please remember that the money will be divided evenly amongst all those standing at the end of the round. If it can’t be divided evenly, it will carry on to the next round. There was no N0 view for the Informant.

so in this case it can be divided for all cases except 3, 6, and 9.

ignore that
