Are there any restrictions on trading. Can I trade two fish for stone for example or only within horizontal good types?

Only restriction:
You must have manned market. Trade any two for one. (to game pool)

Player to player:
Both must have market - only one needed to be manned.
No restriction on trade.

The rules state:

"When trading with other players, it is sufficient for one of the two trading players to have a (manned) market."

I took this to mean that only one player needed a manned market to trade with another player.

And the other need not have a market at all. I agree.
