There is no mention of the cost for these in CotE2 but they do give a defense advantage. Do they cost the same as in the original version? It seems they were forgotten in the CotE2 rules in error.

Also the original combat rules seem a little more detailed and better. Can we use them with the CotE2 rules or would that mess something up we can't see?

They only appear through card play.

Cities only come into play when its card is played.

CotEII and CotE are two completely different games. Yes, you get two games in one box. Not sure how mixing the two rule books will work.

Thanks Ray. I do prefer the CotE combat so maybe we'll try it and also add the pursuit rule which is not in CotE2 rules for some reason.
