Kanban is a really good game. I am enjoying the game experience. My only beef is with the performance cards. Why didn't they provide the descriptions on what cards do on the cards themselves, rather than at the back of the manual???? I must say it has been a pain having to pass around the manual for players to refer to the descriptions of cards. Perhaps after several plays the icons will be intuitive but not so with new players! I think the descriptions could have been put on the cards. And I would pay more to have larger cards... the current ones are rather small.
Otherwise, Kanban is a solid game. I am enjoying it!

In the interest of making the game language independent no text was placed on any of the components. This is very common for most games produced by multiple publishers sharing a print run from various countries.

Thanks for playing. The iconography become second nature after a couple plays.

That's why.

I would not want the text on the cards, even if the choice were given to me. It detracts from the overall aesthetic. Language independence is the way to go. Player aids can make up the difference if necessary.

Ok, that makes sense to me. Thanks for the reply Paul... and good job on this game.
