With 2 and 3 players, Concept is a cooperative game.

2-player
18 rounds will be played. Player 1 is the active player on odd rounds, player 2 is the active player on even rounds.

Time limits:
1 min in blue (rounds 1 to 6)
2 min in red (rounds 7 to 12)
3 min in black (rounds 13 to 18)

Every round has several turns and every turn has two steps:
1) The active player makes a move (1 concept piece or 1 cube or several cubes but in the same place).
2) The guessing player gives one and only one answer. If it is correct, the team scores 1 point. Otherwise, go back to step 1.

The guessing player may never give another answer until the active player has made a new move, even if the active player feels he has given all the good clues.

The active player may never move any elements previously placed on the board and may never let the guessing player know if he is close to the right answer or not. Poker face.

The aim is to make the best possible score out of 18.

3-player
With 3 players, there are two active players (main and secondary) each round and 27 rounds in total. Every player has a card. The reference concept to be guessed is on the main active player's card.

Same rules as above but the two active players take turns in making moves (one answer after each move), starting by the main active player. They may not communicate, they may not move any elements already placed on the board.

The few times I playtested these variants (twice with 2p, once with 3p), they worked brilliantly.

Do try them at home and let us know what you thought!
