These are great Kip. And this is what's great about Xia. The system is so easily modded, not to say this was easy. You've obviously put a lot of thought into it.

And...It's the first major player-created expansion! So kudos to you for that.

I can see where most of this stuff is going to work right off the bat. The extra NPC's, the Space Station, their missions.

I'll have to playtest the Xythlis invasion and its Mission to see how well balanced it is and what effect it has on the rest of the game, but it looks pretty cool at first glance.

Thanks! The Invasion is a pretty difficult mod, though because a spawn roll is made after each player's turn it scales up pretty nicely as you add players.

A good strategy is to have 1 player guarding the gate and killing harvesters, 1 player collecting Cyber to close the gate, and another player or two attacking BaseShips. The remaining player can d whatever to help.

It would be awesome if some or all of this was made into a legit expansion. I would have no problem with my ideas being used, as long as I get an honorable mention.

How does a player expose you as a traitor? Do they accuse you of it or is there more to it than that?

What penalties are there for being accused of a Traitor falsely? If there are none, the mechanic falls apart completely since you can just accuse everyone to start the game and discover who it is.

"Keep this card face down until someone accuses you of being a traitor after the invasion has started."

Accusing someone before the invasion has started will not do anything. There is no real penalty for accusing falsly, though guessing right will give the traitor the 5th (free) token. Which gives them a small advantage.

There isn't a huge benefit for being the traitor, nor is there guaranteed to be one (the card may not get pulled). The card is there to add flavor and change dynamics a bit.

Ignore everything in my last post. Smuge and I are making a PnP PDF and after talking it over it will get very complex to add an accusation process. Instead I made it like a normal mission now. The card flips when the Tigris gate is discovered, and you gain 2 FP if you discovered it.
