I know how to do a "geek buddy ratings" in the Geek Buddies Manager and show the top games as rated by my geek buddies.

But suppose I wanted to find the top abstract strategy games, say, as rated by my geek buddies. Is there a way to filter out all games except abstract srategy ones? (Ditto for other types, e.g. negotiation, economic, etc.)

An ability to filter by game type would be nice. I don't think there is any way to do it at the moment. Unfortunately, geekbuddy ratings seem to be the red-headed stepchild of BGG. A couple of years ago I raised a problem with video games showing up among mine. They still do. Seven years ago I suggested a simple filter for expansions, such as has long been an option for advanced searches. No response.
