Apologies if posted elsewhere (I could not find). (I also incorrectly attempted to post this to the reviews section...shake)

http://mail.fortressat.com/articles-boardgame-reviews/4802-w...

Quote:
This is a marquee release that in time will come to be known as the best thing the company has ever published. Hornet Leader and Thunderbolt Apache Leader are great games, but they’re no Warfighter.
Quote:
If you value narrative, tense action, and quick yet satisfying tactical decision points you need this game. Warfighter is cardboard heroin of the most potent variety and you will be hanging your head in shame if you box out the peer pressure on this one.

Though in lieu of the bolded item above, I personally prefer the more succinct description of it as "Wargamer Crack" by

(Methinks the Fortress review has 'borrowed' Derek's concept... )

Edit: I assume that the Fortress review is by this fellow?

It's crack alright. I've only had it for a little over a month and have 18 plays of it.

Thanks for the shout out. I actually never watched Derek's review, the drug concept came to me when I saw that quote about war being a drug at the beginning of Hurt Locker (which I watched shortly before the review).
