Is this available in stores yet? I'm assuming it will be in the TRUs and Targets of the world.

Thanks!

I haven't seen it yet at Walmart or Target in my area. I can't find it listed on the Walmart.com website nor the ToysRus.com website.

It was available at BGG.con 2. I played it once and bought it. I guess I won't have to look in stores now. Yay !

I purchased Voltage today at The Comic Warehouse (http://www.thecomicwarehouse.com/) in Brampton, Ontario. They also had Desert Bazaar, the second Brian Yu / Mattel game in stock.

Afraid not, Christopher. Here's an excerpt from my review of Desert Bazaar on FunandBoardgames.com (http://funandboardgames.com/site/comments/desert_bazaar/):

"Retailers think of Ticket to Ride and Caracassonne as anomalies as opposed to indicators that there's a growing trend towards this type of game experience," says Jeannie Hardie, senior design manager for Mattel's games group. "To be honest, [mass-market retailers] aren't interested right now."

You and I might think these games would fit perfectly on the shelves of TRU—and they would—but the lack of a license makes the big boxes indifferent. Pity.

No sign of this in any of my local game shops or Borders and as far as I can see, only a couple retailers have them online... Honestly, what is Mattel trying to do here??? How frustrating this must be for you, Brian.
