Is someone going to do one. I'd almost like to see two. One for Big Games and one for Small games.

It would have to run and complete a week or so before we all left so everyone would need to know what to pack and stuff.

So I'd expect that it would need to start pretty soon right?

I am certainly interested. However, I am running so much (Airport transportation and special game signup) that I do not have time to run it.

Is there any more motion on this idea? Even if it weren't a Math Trade, I'd be interested in somehow pre-arranging a trade with someone at the con.

I've never participated in a math trade, so I don't feel up to running one.

As for pre-arranged trades, check this thread: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/article/1088005

I asked Regai, and he said he might be able to start one in the next day or two.

Is this still a possibility? I have some games I'd like to trade at BGG.CON (Tikal, Conquest of Pangea, Villa Piletti, others) but would prefer the certainty of a trade with a math trade. If this does not happen, what is the best alternative for trading at the con?

Has anyone stepped up to moderate a no-shipping trade for BGGcon? If not, I will.

I've never done a math trade but I would participate in this one since I'll be going to BGG.con. Is there a special forum for trade geeklists?

I wonder if anyone would want something I have in trade for Gheos, as in they buy me Gheos at the con, and I trade them my whatever for it.

Okay folks, I'm definitely going to moderate a Math Trade for BGGcon. Please be gentle, I haven't run one before.

Before I start the list, here's what I'm thinking:

1. Two trade lists: One for under $25 USD, one for the big stuff. This should help to encourage trades and prevent peopel from being burned.
2. Let 'em run for a week, then Trade Genie or Mikko's OSX-friendly tool to maximize trades.
3. No shipping, huzzah!
4. No more than say, five entries per person.

How does that sound? Any gotchas that I'm missing before I run with this?

Sounds good. I was hoping someone would do this.

I like the idea of separating the cheaper stuff. I will have some games for both lists. Be sure to spell out if the $25 cut-off is MSRP or street price.

Thanks. Like I said, Regai was going to run one, but has since refused to run any more math trades because of the removal of the deadbeat traders geeklist.

So it was in limbo. Thanks Rossom, for stepping up and running one.
