As part of our community service we go to a card night for the local retirement home and the older folks are really into their card games, the boys are told to bring some board games or quiet activity for while the others are playiing cards.

What are your recommendations?

I am planning on bringing

Octiles
Quorridor
Frank's Zoo
Woolly Bully
Carcassone (maybe, we would just play it as tile laying w/o scoring most likely)

What might be some other recommendations?

Frank's Zoo is a good choice. I'd also bring up the possiblity of either Jungle Speed, Top Dogs, or Rat-A-Tat Cat.

Our cubs like Ivanhoe. Goes with the card theme also.

Who's the designer? I came up with two games by this name and both were card games.

Thanks

I think they might like "Hey, That's My Fish!". The old folks might even enjoy playing it with them.

I've played Diamant with my cubs, and that went well with an adult "running" the game.
