This site:

www.learningresources.com

Has their product #LER 0101-B -- 96 plastic US coins. Each bag will do 2.5 sets of Coin Age with a number of extra quarters, nickels, and pennies -- the dimes are the limiting factor.

Also sold in bulk by individual coins:

LER 0095, 100x Pennies
http://bit.ly/2w8buu5

LER 0096, 100x Nickels
http://bit.ly/2eVvbum

LER 0097, 100x Dimes
http://bit.ly/2wZM3sc

LER 0098, 100x Quarters
http://bit.ly/2xllBvd

(as of 9/13/2017, these were still $3.99 per bag)

When using actual coins I never have the right amount handy, and some folks see real coins as cash, so they won't stay in the game when stored.

(edited to add more options and date)

Nice find! I'd love to get these if it wasn't for international shipping. Now that I mention it, I do remember that there was a woman on Kickstarter who promised to send out the coins to everyone who's willing to send her son a post card. I did send a card from my home town but never heard of her again.

If you look, these are available on eBay too ... slightly cheaper, though I don't know about international shipping costs there.

Make sure that they aren't imprinted with "COPY". I got a set from Amazon once that was made useless due to that. Something to do with laws against making a duplicate of US currency.

True to that. So far, the ones from Learning Resources are not marked "copy" -- but do say "school money" instead of "In God We Trust" or "E Pluribus Unum", and are a little thicker than a real coin.

I ordered the four different bags of the 100 count coins on Monday and they arrived today -- Wednesday. Two day turnaround -- great service from Learning Resources!

Has anyone tried stickering these coins? My wife is an elementary school teacher and has a metric ton of these coins. I might pilfer myself a set if the stickers will work.

They do have quite a bit of surface definition to them, roughly .012" (a quarter millimeter) to the face, so the stickers would not lay flat once you applied them.
