I'm sorry if this is answered already, but I can't seem to find it online or on the forum. Played for the first time today and had a great time with Haunt #5. But we argued about additional players who are bit and then transform on their turn (after failing the save). The one experienced player insisted that any players turned by the dog or the traitor were treated like monsters (unable to reveal new rooms and roll dice to determine movement). But since additional werewolves get to read the same text in the book as the traitor, I assumed they played exactly the same as the traitor.

Can anyone clarify? TIA!

Player are never monsters. They are either heroes or traitors, and in some scenarios they can change side.

So in this scenario they can change from hero to traitor, but not to monster.
