Top Three
1. Trajan
2. Bora Bora
3. Bruges

Just missing the cut: Speicherstadt (with the expansion), Amerigo, Castles of Burgundy, In the Year of the Dragon.

Honestly, I have yet to play a Feld game I don't like, at least a little.

Roma or Pillars of the Earth Builders Duel are toward the bottom of my list, but I will still play them in a moment.

I haven't played Aquasphere, La Isla, Macao, or Notre Dame. I've gone through the rules and am ready to get Rialto to the table.

3.Bora Bora

Aquasphere seems like it will replace Bora after a few more plays. Bora is a lot of fun, but Aquasphere is "brain-burny" in a more fun and streamed-line way over Bora. And I'd say the say thing about Bora over Trajan. I'd need to play Notre Dame more, but I didn't love it, and it seems like Aquasphere does most it better at least.

Difficult one here...
I have not played them enough to rate yet, but for now it is:

1. Bora Bora
2. Trajan
3. Luna

This might change soon, since I will play them more soon

Felds that I have played:

1. Trajan
2. Aqua Sphere
3. Amerigo
4. Rialto
5. La Isla
6. Bruges - Not that I think La Isla or Bruges are BAD games, but they are just ranked lower in my mind compared to the other Felds I have played.

Felds that I own but need to get to the table:

- Notre Dame
- Macao
- Castles of Burgundy
- Bora Bora
- Die Speicherstadt

I own Trajan and have played, Rialto, Macao, Bora Bora and watch Rahdo for Strasbourg. The more I look at Feld, the more they just blend together and seem the same to me: A boatload of chits, 4-6 phases of 4-6 options, pick your cards or roll your dice, a player order track, and some area control bonus at the end. On two different games of this list, I have won my very first time playing by sheer luck of not knowing what I was doing at the begining. Meh. So based on how likely they are to get played with my group, Rialto is probably the easiest/quickest to teach.

I think this is a good thing. I taught my brother Trajan and his first game he scored 174. I scored 175. You better believe he wanted a rematch immediately. "Welcome to the world of Feld", I said. It's impressive when a game with so many options can come down to one point, regardless of skill level. That's what Feld does so well, and that's how you hook new gamers.

1. Trajan
2. Castles of Burgundy
3. Bruges, especially with the Zwin expansion

I also own and like Rialto, and have played and like Macao. But honestly, now that we have 4 of his (and will probably buy Macao if it gets reprinted), I don't feel the need to add his newer ones to our collection. Each plays a bit differently, but they pretty much share that common feel of weighing many options in similar ways. I like them greatly - Trajan might be my top game of all - but now I'm spending my gaming budget on things that give a different feel.

By all means, consider me a Feld fan. But 3 or 4 of his titles are enough for my collection.

EDITED:

Over a year later, I need to change my top 3:

1) Macao
2) Castles of Burgundy
3) Notre Dame

Still love both Bruges and The Name of the Rose, but they just haven't hit the table as often as I'd like.

1. Macao--our first Feld and such a revelation! We were new to the hobby and this game was everything that I wished for but couldn't imagine myself. I was amazed at the mechanics, how everything fit together and how it all made sense. My first love and will always be special.

2. Trajan--had this for more than 2 years prior to playing. Because I was afraid. Then someone (Ozzie, bless his heart!) told me it was like 6 minigames all rolled into one. So we opened it and loved it right away. So sorry I wasted all this time with it on the shelf gathering dust. It reminds me of the days of playing that one video game, Mario Party.

3. Bruges--I know people grumble about the luck of the cards, but that's what makes this game so much fun in my book. You have to really be on the ball to make the best of what's thrown your way. I love outsmarting the game!
