So I reset for the first time. 48 Paragon, 10.7 Karma. Back to year 300 and I already have 54 kitties and 52k catnip. Pretty happy with this Paragon stuff.

Paragon can be insane. More useful, I think, is just that after the first time you've played, you know what to look for. You know the best way to build and what to prep for.

At least, for those folks who didn't play "perfectly" their first time. Heh.

My first play through was very slow and certainly not optimized. This time I am going for max kittens above all, then workshops and things are going very good.

Not to mention it makes it easier to look for previous kitten related discussions without wading through pages of chit chat.

With Trigirl being this lock consensus good read for so many people, I find it really bizarre that she's alive. Just don't lock clear her for tone. There's a threshold where if she's still alive she should probably just be murdalated.

So I reset earlier this morning and just out of curiosity I wanted to see how quickly I would match that. Although I wasn't actively at a computer the entire time, I just got my 54th kitten - I am on Autumn of year 14. And I just researched Theology as well.

It's not all paragon, since that only maxes out at 200% production. I think the ratio metaphysics upgrades really help a lot too. And I was mistaken, there's an additional ratio upgrade I haven't gotten, but that one's expensive - costs 250 paragon. I didn't remember seeing that one before. I don't think I'll pick it up until next reset.

Yeah, the paragon discounts are intense. They can make a huge difference.

Hah. Seriously, though - yah, the things that we've discussed in chit-chat are part of the game. It's a civilization builder with no graphics, just button pressing. It's like farmville or candy whatever, in that there is always 'something' that you can work on, and a lot of the game is just waiting for the next opportunity to get a fix. I, uh, mean - next opportunity to build something or learn a science or whatever.

o.O What would a Werewolf Geologist be?

A scientist could be some kind of view, like the detective. But a geologist?

Well, you now have some inspiration for the next Massacre.

I'm already incorporating roles of other moderators to make Massacre more of a community game. Like, ThatAblaze has let me use his Fungal Lord. And Murph and I are talking about using one of the roles he's relied upon before. Other mods have been asked without replying - but I have months left to worry about it.

Not sure if incorporating a Werewolf Kitten Geologist should be a goal.

I'm advocating for the "Bullshit Detector" as a role in Massacre 4.

I want this role... Otherwise, I'll be screwed.
