hehe...some people take things a wee bit too seriously.

"I just finished my 100th play of ___ and I feel that I can say with certainty that......"

shake

It reminds me of some of the film geeks at rottentomatoes that can literally write pages about the sub-standard lighting or cinematography...in every single film...

...Things that none of the other millions of people who saw the film even noticed, because they were concentrating on other unimportant things like...the plot...and on...enjoying themselves.

I'm a little confused. I've encountered far more nitpickers among the wargamers, RPGers and CCGers of our nation.

(Yes, I'm nitpicking.)

Yeah, no doubt. I guess no one here has played Warhammer 40K. Nitpicking is the whole game. cool Like the toon.

I have played Warhammer 40k. I don't recall much nitpicking on my part. But then, I didn't (and don't) own any models, so I wasn't in a good position to tell my opponent (who owned both his and my armies), what the rules were.

I like the cartoon. Is this the start of a series.

Not really "ancient". They have glasses and paper. I have a feeling this is something someone made up. Sounds fake to me.

I was actually thinking this sounded more like the Squad Leader and THird Reich players of old...or modern MtG players.

Sit beside the breakfast table
Think about your troubles
Pour yourself a cup of tea
And think about the bubbles
You can take your teardrops
And drop them in a teacup
Take them down to the riverside
And throw them over the side
To be swept up by a current
And taken to the ocean
To be eaten by some fishes
Who were eaten by some fishes
And swallowed by a whale
Who grew so old
He decomposed
He died and left his body
To the bottom of the ocean
Now everybody knows
That when a body decomposes
The basic elements
Are given back to the ocean
And the sea does what it oughta
And soon there's salty water
(That's not too good for drinking)
'Cause it tastes just like a teardrop
(So they run it through a filter)
And it comes out from a faucet
(And is poured into a teapot)
Which is just about to bubble
Now think about your troubles
