Did you noticed that the Queen is who do the most of the hard work and the King continue allways as the “most important piece of the game” or “ the one that you have to protect at all costs” ? Did you notice that? Oh, because the Queen did it... And she is angry about that.
The Queens plotted to kill the Kings and not just Cheking him. No, now it’s for real, and lay down in the board will not concede the victory anymore!
To achieve their goal the two Queens (black and white) lured the other pieces to hate his once beloved King and finish them both (white and black).

“The Chessland would never be the same, but will be better and fair! No more castlings, no more beggining with the whites, no more of the moron “move in L” to reach a place. Liberty to the Pieces, that says the Queens!!”
Before the rebellion started all pieces that declared loyalty to the Kings were Hanged as Warning to traitors... that will prevent questions as “Where are the other pieces, blablabla”

The Rules

The rules are simple and most basic standard plain easy and natural werewolf rules.

Objectives
-The Kings must reach parity and can remove from the board one piece each night.
-The Other Pieces Must Kill the Kings. The pieces are being fooled by the Queen, but they don’t know that....
-The Black Bishop is Aux. Evil...

The Roles.

Not all of the Pieces have special movements. To tell the truth just a few of them have, and believe, walking two squares ahead and one aside won’t let you far away so quickly...

The Kings - Werewolves as we know'em.

The White King – The White allways move first, how Brutal.

The Black King – The Black is a defensive guy. He can and will do a “Castling” with a Rook in order to avoid a Checkmate (Lynch).
Clarification - In other words, the B.K. player will be linched but not the B.K. role. The BK player is out and bring with him the Rook role. The Rook player is now the Black King. Simple, eh?

The Black Rook – The Bodyguard. The Rook can choose a Player to protect from a night kill and if his piece is attacked, the Rook is killed in his place. The rook can choose not to guard anyone and cannot guard the same person two nights in a row.

The White Bishop – The Seer. At night the Bishop dream about the Identity of the Kings.
The White Bishop can reveal himself anytime.

The Black Bishop – The Sorcerer. The Black Bishop is an secretive ally of the Kings, but they don't know that. The Black Bishop knows the identities of his Majesties, and even that he don’t count to reach parity, if the Kings Win, he Win.
Every night the Black Bishop can Dream about his cousin, the White Bishop. They seem to have some unsolved adolescent matter.. hmmmmm....
The black Bishop can get out of the closet reveal himself anytime

The White Knights – Masons. The White Knights are loyal to the Queen. Any problem with that, punk? They know each other Identity but the party last night made them to forgot the Queens’ indentities...
In that drunken and "boring" night, The Knights decided to make a “Xandryyte Pact” ...Hic... Zhat means zhat while zhe zwo ..Hic...are schtill adive zhey cannot reveal zhemvelves, or a Big Hand hohohohohahaha comes and zake zhem ous ov zhe voard...

The Queens – Witches. This vile, jealous and sexual hungry creatures are trying to steal the throne and they are too drunk to remember anyone identity.
The White Queen – Once per game the White Queen can choose a Player at Night and give him a kiss with will prevent his piece death if the piece was target of a Night Kill

The Black Queen – This w(b)ich just wants to keep herself alive. Whatever side wins, she win using her “seduction” (if still alive). Once per game she can offer her “Apple” to a Player (who will accept, are you listening? Or want you to spend your life in a dungeon?) and who will die poisoned...By apple you understant whatever you want, promiscuous boy...

Pawns – You are a pawn. Any more questions? No ? Good, get back to work.

Number Of Player – Minimum 12 and Maximum 25

Lynch deadline – 3 PM BGG (6 PM in Brazil, time to go net-less home)

Night Orders – From 3 PM BGG and as fast as they are resolved to max. 7 AM BGG (10 AM here. I don't dare to bother you earlier just to give me night orders)

Night Zero - White Bishop gets a No-King view and there are no Kill.

Ties: In Chess a Tie means that the 2 players are the losers! Or did you had ever seen the Big Blue offering a tie to Kasparov?
So in a Tie, the last Player who made the votation went to a tie is lynched along with a coin flip between the tied players, lets see how much do you love the ties...
"Hey, this favorite the Bandwagons!!!", you will say.
Yes, this is called "Chess Openings" by the Grand Masters...

Ex.: Player 1 have 2 votes
Player 2 have 1 vote.
Player 3 vote to player 2 causing the Tie, until the deadline.
The lynch will be: Player 3, PLUS a coinflip between Player 1 and Player 2.

Deal? Ok...

Lets get ready to rumble !

Re: WW Game: The Chess Pieces Rebellion - Sign Ups
I have a question about the "in case of a tie, the person who caused the tie is lynched" part.

Player A has 2 votes on him.
Player B has 1 vote on him.

Player C votes for Player B. So now:

Player A has 2 votes on him.
Player B has 2 votes on him.

If voting came to an end at this point, it's clear that player C would die for causing the tie, and there's a coin flip between A and B.

But what happens if player D votes for player A before the voting deadline (breaking the tie, making it 3-2) ... and then one of the people (let's call him player Q) on player A changes his mind and moves his vote to player Z? Now A and B are tied again. Is that still player C's fault for the original 2-2 tie? Or is it player Q's fault for retracting his vote from player A while A was leading 3-2?

I'm guessing it would be player Q.

Re: WW Game: The Chess Pieces Rebellion - Sign Ups
And you are right !
Q offered the tie, so Q is a looser and will die !

The one who causes em tie is the one to be lynched in adition to a tied player.

About the Castling, is everything cleared?

Let me give an exemple.

Royal is the Black King.
PolkadotSox is the Rook.

If Royal got lynched, he is out of the game. But the King was not lynched. The king throw the Rook in his place...
So that would be like this:

Mod. - Royalflush, the Rook, was killed.

That will pretty much sound like a Castling, right?
But if PDS was lynched instead of Royalflush?

Mod. - PolkadotSox, the Rook, was Killed.

OMG! A Castling ! Not necessarily...

Note that in the first case, a real castling, PDS becomes the Black King from that point on...

And this was just an example. The roles are random and were not distributed yet.

3 more to the mininum... Cmon ppl, give a chance to pharaz!

Re: WW Game: The Chess Pieces Rebellion - Sign Ups
So, the white King is a Brutal wolf and the Black King is a difficult lynch?

Interesting tiebreaker method, btw. I can see it being stolen if it's successful. It also gets around the "intentional draw" that is so very common in games where a "coin-flip" is used as the tiebreaker. See Glutton for Punishment if you need that explained to you.

Oh, and if you find a five-sided coin, can you pass it on to Terri please? shake

What the hell would you do in this situation?

Yes, this game gave chills of thinking in a tie...
I died in a coinflip in this game ang get a little trauma ! ehehe

I think that the above situation is less probably to happen on this game...
Because of the fact that a coinflip tie-brake and no one had much information on the other, they relied on the Tie on purpose.

In this game ppl would become afraid to offer a tie. 'Cause they don't know if someone else is gonna untie the match to save him.

They could do that to get the moderator crazy, thou!!!

But if this case happen (and it could happen, of course) I will considerate only the LAST player who offered the tie to be lynched.

That will reduce the number of tied players in a single lynch. In the case above Genghis (15) would be lynched among a random choice of tied players... And lucky as I am, I would be the choice...ehehe

The double lynch only benefit the Kings, and that's another reason to avoid ties...
