But this game looks very much like DungeonQuest.
I'm sure there are nuances and subtle differences, but essentially thats what this game is, right?

Aside from the fact that it uses tiles, this game seems to have almost nothing in common with DungeonQuest. It's mostly player against player rather than player against the game (although there's some of that as well). All rooms have functions to allow players to hurt other players or help themselves.

The Tile aspect and theme are about all that DQ and Drakon have in common.

DQ is a push your luck game, whilst Drakon is a coin grabbing game.

Both games are immense fun!

This is a great game. In terms of play, not at all similar to Dungeonquest. Tom Jolly has done it again (and again)!
