I am curious if anyone has experience using pieces from Risk for GMT's Napoleonic Wars (with the larger super deluxe map). I would like to know how well this works and if one Risk set provides enough pieces.

Anybody?

Mark McLaughlin specifically designed the game to be compatible with the Risk minis, so that you could use a single Risk set to fill out all the troop requirements (although it does require a little bit of repainting). In fact, I believe that Mark's convention demo game used a set of painted Risk figures.

Yes, a Risk set should provide enough figures, although you will have to repaint some to add to the French total, and also for some of the minors.
