My wife and I were on a road trip and I took along Alhambra, so this is us playing Alhambra in the Alhambra, we're so meta, next stop Carcassonne.

We were disappointed that they didn't sell the game there, although we'd visited Palacio de Viana a couple of days earlier, where they were selling copies of the game of the same name, which I believe has since been reimplemented as Templar: The Secret Treasures.

What other games could be played on location?

Re: Games on location
I'm too lazy for the fiddly bits of Suburbia, so I think I'd prefer Castles of Mad King Ludwig in Neuschwanstein Castle.

I'm now drinking an Alhambra beer after playing Alhambra in the Alhambra whilst playing Alhambra.

What about Snowdonia in Wales. If there is not too much wind you could go up the mountain by train, in the Summer to the top, otherwise halfway.

I suppose it depends which version you have! If I had to play one, I reckon I'd go for Monopoly Tropical Tycoon.

I don't think I'd have the commitment to play K2/Everest/Mauna Kea on location. Maybe Agricola on a farm.

broad locations: any of the ticket to ride series (America, Europe, Scandinavia, Swiss, Netherlands, India, Africa etc.), pirate's cove (if you find one!)

More fine grained location: Great Wall of China, Jaipur, San Juan (second edition)

Yeah I guess any of the Euro city named games, but not Murano... The game looks more like Burano with the coloured houses, a neighbouring island.

Ivor the Engine on a steam train in Wales?
