How and where did you celebrate?

I went to Pizza Man, Van Nuys, CA. They offer a large (15"), 6-topping pizza for only $10. Mine has chicken, sausage, bell peppers, mushrooms, onion, and feta cheese:

I'm probably going to have to continue celebrating tomorrow. And maybe Wednesday, too.

In Japan it is a day where everyone eats meat. The numbers of the date 2/9 are pronounced Ni Ku. Combined you get Niku (肉) which means meat.

So have meat on your pizza. Two celebrations in one meal.

That explains why every 29th is "Meat Day" (20% off meats) at the local Japanese market. It's all natural organic stuff, too.

Oh... wish I could have had pizza... maybe tomorrow.

Next time I go to that Pizza Man, I'm going to try something different:

Chicken, Sausage, Onion, Tomato, Garlic and Feta.

Then, from the Kebab Time business (operating in the same kitchen, but with a separate menu), I'll order a side of Tzatziki sauce.

A gyro pizza. It'll be a brave experiment.

(I've asked if I could order a pizza with gryo and kebab meat on it, but they don't allow their menus to mix like that. I don't get it.)

This explains a lot.

A lot is explained by this.

I have this, and explanations are forthcoming even so.

Feb. 9 is my birthday. That's me on the right. The badge says Pizza Eater. No wait, my belly says that.
