I just picked this game up at a thrift store. It was missing the rules, but I picked it up anyway, knowing that I could get ahold of a copy. However, if the rules are anything like Fortress America, they won't give a checklist of all the specific parts. Would anyone be willing to post a list of all the components, or point me to a website that has such a list?

Thanks,
Ross

Hi,

First, sorry about the late reply...

Second, I am assuming your Thrifty find was a version from the 1980's. My version is copyright 1987.

From the box bottom:

299 plastic pieces:

-50 tanks

-75 infantry

-15 bombers

-50 fighter planes

-10 Aircraft Carriers

-30 Transport ships

-15 Battleships

-12 AA Guns

-12 Industrial Complexes

Aside from AAA and ICs each nation has an equal amount.

From the instruction booklet, non-plastic parts are:

-1 gameboard

-1 stack of production certificates (I have 34@1, 28@5, and 31@10)

-5 reference charts (1 per nation), 1 Battle Board, 1 National Production Chart

-100 control markers (20 per nation)

-6 red & 6 white dice

-6 game trays

-plastic chips (my set has 6 red & 53 white)

-1 instruction booklet

Hope this helps...someone

I think the chips and production certificates varied. My thrift store copy has 6 red chips and 55 white chips, 31@1, 30@5 and 30@10 production certificates.

Figured I'd add information from my set to all this for anyone who comes after.

I bought my set used from a woman who had bought it because it looked fun and then never played it. She said she bought it somewhere around 2004 so it's the 1987 edition but with the small updates done in 1991.

My set includes the aforementioned number of fighters, submarines and so forth. The number of infantry units vary between 15 and 18 (possibly one or two could have been lost somewhere) instead of the supposed 15.

I have exactly 30 each of the certificates and 56 white and six red chips.

Cheers
