Players: Rhoy, Michael, Jovi, Noel, Reena
Michael, a pastor from the Philippines, recently arrived in Canada and we welcomed him to the world of gaming with Carcassone.
I tried to steal an early city with my giant meeple which quickly became a sad example on how to trap a meeple.
In the end, numerous cities were completed in an uncharacteristicly fairly distributed fashion. Making the farmers almost a non-factor. This, coupled with the fact that both cathedrals ruined uncompleted cities and several uncompleted roads ruined by inns, didn't give anyone a major boost in the final counting.
It was Rhoy's partnership with different players and some individual cities that earned him the win.
