Subject: Purpose of victory point tokens? rss

I am not sure I understand the point of the victory point tokens. If you're supposed to just run around the track as soon as you gain victory points, what's the point of the physical tokens? I guess I understand the 100 point marker...in case people somehow forget you've gone around the whole track once, but the 1 point ones?

Those tokens are placed on the buildings before they are built to keep track of how much those buildings are worth when built.

They get added to the unbuilt buildings in Builder's Hall to keep track of how many tokens they've accumulated.

The stacks of 3 points also help you remember what round it is. We also put the 5th round meeples (and sometimes the resources that need to go onto certain buildings every new round) on those stacks.
