Hello! I just started playing this one and we had a question. If a player has played the shield card in front of them, can another player change the color of the tournament? Its a global action, but does affect the player with the shield. We played that as long as the shield was in play no cards could be played against that particular player or that changed the color. I suppose if you tried to play a "every other player discards" card that would be prohibited too (rather than just making the player with the shield immune?) Thanks for you help

Joe

If memory serves the shield card only protects that player's display (the cards he has played in front of him) from being manipulated (cards being removed or exchanged). It will not keep anyone from changing the color of the tournament.

Nor will the Shield protect against someone drawing a card out of your hand (Knockdown) or placing a Stunned card on you. You need the Ivanhoe card for those.
